Mr. Fix-It
Charlie has become Mr. Fix-It. Nana gave him a Handy Manny tool set for Christmas. I now frequently find him working with his screwdriver on various toys. Here is Charlie fixing his shopping cart. It must have gotten a bum wheel.

TV Addict
Charlie has become a TV addict. He doesn't get to watch very often, but apparently he was allowed to watch too much Frosty the Snowman over the holidays. Now he is quite determined to watch it more often. Poor kid has a really mean mom that won't let him. She just keeps insisting that he play with his toys instead.
Recently the pull handle on one of the doors of our TV cabinet has been falling off. Charlie has tried to use this to his advantage to watch more TV. The rubber maid is there in an attempt to protect the DVD player and the receiver. Here are what his attempts look like.

Charlie likes sharing with the bird
Charlie was given this cool shopping cart by his Aunt Valerie and Uncle Steve. He LOVES it. A few days ago he tried to share his shopping cart with Birdie.

Trash Trucks
Charlie loves trash trucks. We have to make a big deal of it every week because otherwise he will ask for the trash truck every day and our shutters just can't take the pulling. While visiting Nana and Papa up in Carson City we hung out in the bed of Papa's truck waiting to see the trash truck. Here are a few pictures of Charlie and Dad waiting for the smelly truck.
By the looks of all that trash, Charlie sure got spoiled this Christmas! Click on the pic to see the anxious smile on Charlie's face as he anticipates his favorite truck.

After the trash truck went by we got the remote control cars out. Charlie loves remotes. It doesn't matter what they go to: ceiling fans, tv's, dvd players, toy cars, Mom's car... He just loves things with buttons, especially when something happens as a result of him pushing the buttons.

Catching Up
The time has now come to play catch up. There will be no chronology for a while as I get caught up on all of the Charlie cuteness. So many pictures and waiting for more from Nana. Enjoy our little Charlie!
Christmas
Where do I start? It was great, but uneventful. I don't really have any pictures from the big day. I do have one really long video that I will not be posting. In fact, I will probably burn it to a dvd so that it doesn't eat up all of the space on my hard drive. For the first time since I got my camera back in March I have used pretty much the whole 4 GB memory card. Charlie received a lot of fun toys from aunts and uncles and Nana and Papa. Mom and Dad also gave him a few. His favorites happen to be: a fridge magnet set that goes through the sounds of letters, a grocery cart, a tool box with dancing tools, and his magnadoodle. Such a spoiled little boy. All of these toys will end up in subsequent posts.
I hope everyone had a fantastic holiday!

Charlie is Going to Have a Little...
brother!! We are excited to announce that our second baby will be a boy. It looks like Dave's curse is coming true. He always said that we would have all boys since I wanted a girl so badly. So far we will just be helping the Ludden line continue into the future. No name yet, but even if there was we won't be announcing it till our little boy arrives.
