He took it upon himself to introduce fruit loops into his diet. I will just have control on when they will be introduced the next time. :)

Yum!
Apparently I have been holding out on Christopher. No worries though, he has remedied the situation.

And then he threw a fit
Papa built the grandkids a cool new swing set. There is an awesome slide, 2 big kid swings and an infant swing. Charlie really likes to swing and so does Chris. I took Chris out to swing for a while yesterday. It was a bit cold and windy so we only stayed for a few minutes. When I tried to take him in he started throwing a fit. Little stinker. Nana took him from me and headed back outside. He immediately stopped crying. He just wanted to swing some more!

Yay for swings! More swing set fun to come soon!

Catch him if you can!
The boys are loving being at Nana and Papa's house. They have a new swing set (more on that soon) and a Wii to play with. Christopher especially likes the open floor plan with the walker that we borrowed from Grandma Ann. The following video is a little long (3 minutes), but it is worth watching at least a little of it.

My little man
Our little Charlie is growing up so fast. We bought him his first suit for my brother Nate's wedding and conveniently for my sister Amy's wedding too. He is such a dashing little man!

Yes, that is a purple shirt. My dress is lavender and all of my boys will be sporting purple shirts. Pictures will of course follow after the big day.

Sweatin' to the Oldies III
I am currently visiting my parents up in Carson City. Dave is really busy the next few weeks so the kids and I escaped for a little Nana and Papa time. We have been here 5 days so far. I am loving it and Charlie is asking to go home to Grammie's house. Poor kid, we still have two weeks left here. I think he will make it though. He likes the new swing set my dad built and playing on the Wii. He especially likes the fitness game and the Toy Story Mania game.
One of my goals while I am up here is to lose a few more pounds before my brother's wedding. After meeting the bride's sisters and knowing my sister, let's just say I am the curviest of them all. :) I still haven't seen the dress and I sure hope it looks good on people with a stubborn baby bump. In preparation of the wedding my mom and I are going through a little boot camp of sorts. Exercising twice and day and attempting to eat better. The exercise part is going well, the eating part... hmmm, it could use a little work.
Tonight my mom decided to mix things up. She pulled out her exercise video featuring this guy:

Oh yeah, one of the original 1990 videos. The fashions straight out of the late 80's. There he was in his short shorts, tank top and flanked by a bunch of real people who were in differing stages of losing weight. I must admit, it was actually quite a bit of fun laughing along with my mom and we practiced some pretty sweet dance moves to some great oldies. Not only were we working out, we were learning some new dance steps to break out at the wedding reception. We should definitely be the hit of the party. Though I may need to do the video a few more times to make sure I have the combinations right.
Watch out San Diego! Here we come!!
