Houston, We Have a Problem

Charlie has a problem. He has no track for his train to ride on.

Meet the fence.

It can be a fence (as pictured). And it can be...

railroad tracks.

Problem solved.

Play Date with "Kia"

We like hanging out with my cousin Lisa and her family. It is ever so convenient that they live just up the street from us. We get together pretty frequently to let Charlie and their son Kawika play. Kawika is 1 year older than Charlie and Charlie just loves him to death. He is always excited to go play with "Kia". "Kia" is Charlie's favorite thing about Nursery at church. Their attachment to each other is really quite cute. Here are a few pictures from our play date yesterday.

Toys!

Christopher has reached the point we toys are starting to get much more interesting. So to help him start liking toys more we pulled out all of the baby toys for him to explore. We were getting ready to head out so I gave Chris a toy to play with while he was in his car seat. Because seriously, it has got to be so boring looking seat back in the car. I went off the pull a few last minute things together. When I came back I found this.

Apparently Charlie felt that Christopher needed a few more toys to play with. What a good big brother.

Labor Day

For Labor Day we spent time with friends and family. Our first stop was to visit our friends January, John, Heather and Read up in Tustin. We love hanging out with these guys. It is always fun.

Christopher hanging out on the floor with LeeElle.

After our time with our friends we headed over to Dave's Parent's house. It was just a quite evening with a delicious dinner out on the patio. Grammie made corn on the cob since she knows how much Charlie loves it.

Mmmm...

After dinner Charlie had some play time with Grammie's shoes.

It's hard work having this much fun.

Charlie LOVES to Help Out

Charlie has got to be one of the most thoughtful kids. He is always concerned when Christopher's pacifier pops out of Christopher's mouth. He runs right over to help put it back in. When Christopher is laying on the floor he gets him multiple blankets so that he will stay warm. Usually Charlie even uses his own favorite blankets to do the job. His brotherly love is just so amazing. Back on the 25th of August (I am trying to catch up on blogging) Charlie decided that Christopher had not had enough water for the day.

Such a cute little smile. I think Christopher was enjoying this as much as Charlie was.

Afterward I tried to get some pictures with my boys. This is what I ended up with...

An unhappy 2 year old

and an indifferent 3 month old.

The Fun is Just Beginning!

Christopher has started playing with toys. It is so much fun to watch little babies discover how to grab things. Now he just needs to learn to let go.

Sweetness

A bit concerned are we? Wondering what he was dreaming about...

I just love this kid!
